To all.. Not just Dithers..
Jeezzzzz.. Don;t you people understand?
TIm is not taking all of the damn messages private.. He just wants to be able to make some PM type comments to people who he likes, wants to help and trusts.. He wants to eliminate some from those comments..
He has said he and the rest of the thread can/will run the same way it has been.. Only, he wont have to send out 1-2-300 PMs to folks..
He has also been talking for a month or more about a sort of private threat that SI is going to let him set up.. & I'll just bet that will be another feature that SI will offer to others besides Tim..
Why not just shut up and giive him a chance! Or leave those that are in mind stopid following sheep here and get lost!
Grow up for God's sake!
Fritz

Just an observation.........

The entire thread is not encrypted just info on new plays.

It's too easy for these threads to turn into garbage. I've been on SI for three years now. This thread has the ability to have some staying power.

I don't look at the encryption as a hassle but as a way of keeping the sanity of the thread as well as keep some of the trash out.

I guess we'll all have to wait and see what shakes out but it's worth a try.

No one's going to Guyana to drink kool-aid & take a dirt-nap.

I think we all need to chill out here a little.

I feel a bit insulted by such extreme inferences. Your post was very well written and clearly made its point, but with all due respect -- I think you are jumping to some flawed conclusions here.

While I can't speak for everyone here, I take full responsibility for my actions & my trades, and sometimes I'm not too happy with either. But then again, I'm often not too happy with other threads that throw out tips hyping the less experienced into jumping in so they can take the profit & hand the newbie out to dry.

Well, IMHO many of us are drawn to this thread because we get a little more information... like exit points & strategies... an item grossly lacking on many threads.

Cult... now there's an overused derogatory term. Doesn't every thread develop it's own little synergy that takes on a blend of the personalities of it's regulars?

Again, I can only speak for myself, but I am hear to learn... to make money... and to LEARN how to make MONEY. I know enough to be in the black on my own (at least so far), but I'm not foolish enough to think that I'm doing it well. I'm looking for more than "tips/hype" I'm looking for the why/how/when... and to NOT lose my shirt in the process. Tim has been very helpful as well as many other more experienced traders here.

I don't post very much. In the past year I have lurked on SI, RB & WSS (no Yahoo, it sucks) on many threads, general & stock specific, and picked up a little strategy here & there & read about 5 books... but I still have trouble with entry & exit points.

Sorry to ramble... now you know 1 of the reasons I don't post much.

regards,
rip
