I have read 8 or 9 Campbell books (but don't quote me, or ask me to quote him). I agree that there is an appearance of universality in certain myths, legends or traditions. I do wonder how much of that is due to survival instinct as opposed to absolute morality.

I have a hard time with absolutes as one can almost always find an exception, given 5000 years of recorded history.

I have read works of most of the Great Philosophers, They all have that Constant. I really appreciate Peace of Soul by Bishop Fulton Sheen and Seeds of Contemplation by Thomas
Merton. I also read Sybl Leeks work..Jung and a bit of every sector. Intriguing to say the least..Just remember the Rose story..
