>I just believe that tolerance can do all of us some good.

I believe that people who use violence to supress other people's views should be beat up.

is that any less ludicrous than:

We should tolerate anything but intolerance.

I don't think it was "very homophobic". I simply made clear my support for companies that refuse benefits to gay partners. I don't believe gay partners should receive benefits, and I'm not afraid to stand by my words.

If gay people want to do what they please in the privacy of their own homes, so be it. I don't believe they deserve special or preferential treatment.

One of the main reasons many companies offer health insurance to married couples is because often times (at least in the past), one parent would choose to stay home and raise the children. This spouse wasn't in the workforce so they couldn't get their own benefits. If there was no spousal health coverage both parents would have to work to get benefits and there would be no one to stay home and raise the children. That's a shame, because I am against both parents dumping their kids off at daycare so they can both go work. I believe a child should be raised by a parent for the fist few years of it's life. After a child starts school, that is a different matter. Of course the public school system is such a joke now that I'm beginning to believe that home schooling might be the way to go.

Gay people don't have kids together, and shouldn't be allowed to adopt kids either. So there is no reason why they can't both go out and work and get their own benefits. Furthermore gay people engage in high-risk behavior which increases their odds of serious diseases like AIDS. As a stockholder I don't want a company I own to be spending money hand over fist on health benefits to pay for AIDS cocktails because some homo couldn't keep his cock out of another guys tail.

I believe that companies should not be forced into providing benefits to gay couples. I believe it should be their choice, and if you don't want to patronize a company who refuses so be it. If I want to patronize a company who doesn't offer benefits, so be it.
