Joe,

The past few months have not been kind to DFI. They had a 2MM share Namibian stock offering called off at the last min back November. As I understand it NAMCO sold 100,000 shares at the market, in the last hour, the night before the deal was to be priced @2.09. Investors got spooked and the offering was cooked. I still belive that the have the best property in the area, NAMCO is well aware what DFI is sitting on and will try to keep DFI down so that they can aquire them on the cheap...IMO.. I am looking for DFI to start mining in late Y2K, Their sampleing came in fine, but other than NAMCO's mining boat, all others leave to much behind. They need to do a JV with NAMCO on the mining, since NAMCO's new boat is due in the water in Y2K, but NAMCO is trying to keep DFI down. DeBeers mining boat is OK but it still leaves 30-40% behind. Looking for a good year in 2000, and belive that DFI will announce plans to start mining soon. Just some random thoughts. Happy Holidays!

John
