<<But then again, Vixel just announced
that it will begin shipping its 7000 series switches in Feb, a full quarter ahead of schedule. >>

Question for VIXL Longs:

1. WHO is VIXL selling SWITCHES to today ( old series ) and WHO will VIXL be shipping their next generation 7000 series SWITCHES to??? What Tier 1 or Tier 2 OEMs have committed to VIXL?

If you don't have answers to these questions, there are better/safer places to park your money, especially during any potential Tech sell-off.

Thxs Nice Guy,
Well I'm on the hunt. Like the potential in this arena. Can you comment on next post from Kerry? February is just around the corner...

Vixel just announced that it will begin shipping its 7000 series switches in Feb, a full quarter ahead of schedule.

In reading the news yesterday "acquisition rumors" were mentioned. Any thoughts on that info? TIA

Keith
PS - Is there a play here for ZOOX?

I have followed this thread with more than just a passing interest. I do have a couple of questions: I read somewhere that Vixel has a strong IP position in oxide-confined VCSEL. Has the Company made any important reference to this cutting-edge Intellectual Property? And have they announced new optical connections?
A happy and healthy New Year to all.
