MA-- LOL!!! I have read the last post of yours I shall ever read. You have nothing to say except pat yourself on the back for your prowess with 100 shares,, margined yet! You have finally proved to me, BEYOND all doubt, you are full of SH*T! That is the nicest way I can put it,, any response as all future correspondence will be ignored... as you deserve! ROFLMAO! Lastly,, from Hal--- Post to MA....In debate terms...."No response to a challenge...is viewed as being in agreement with challenger"....Sooooo, when you "read & listen" to Bruce Claflin's latest statement referring to 3com as "His Company" you won't be so quick to "pull the trigger" in praising Benhamou ! Enjoy your analysis and agree overall ....cut out the "diaper & pacifer" b.s. it makes you appear "childish" !

MA, congratulations, I have thought about taking some money off the table, but I was too busy and slow, missed the opportunity. You are right, tomorrow may be a good opportunity to buy some COMS low to get in on the Palm IPO. I think we got so wrapped up with the recent price runnup and forget that most of us are still looking to: 1. Palm IPO, 80% goes to existing 3COM shareholders. 2. With all the good technologies and decent mkt share, a takeover target for a communications giant. I do also think it is a magic that 3COM can pull a strong earning with an anticipated revenue slow down. I think the over-reactions in the after hours are mainly due to short term traders who are looking for the quick bucks. Tomorrow, the price will stabilize in the upper 40's. I am certainly looking to add more 3COM shares tomorrow morning.
