Greg, The sense I got over on the GBLX thread was that NXTL will probably not even be able to enter a "bid". They tried a lowball offer, it was rejected by the FCC. It seems that it's up to Nextwave to settle it's debts subject to the laws of bankruptcy court. I can't see how NTXL can even enter a bid. This is probably more gamesmanship than anything else. If Nextwave goes to the FCC and says, "here's your $4.7 billion" (the amount the FCC has been stuck on), I think it's game over. Nextwave is trying to jockey against that $1.7 billion figure. I just hope they don't try to get too cute.

BTW today's action is why I asked earlier about the possibility of 5for1. Anyone for 6for1?
