Hyundai Electronics to ship CDMA equipment to Airtouch
Hyundai Electronics Industries (HEI) has signed a master purchase agreement with AirTouch Cellular to supply CDMA equipment, the firm announced yesterday. HEI will supply micro and pico base station transceiver subsystems to the U.S. wireless carrier and its subsidiaries over a five year period, the company said.

The ministry said the Pusan-Posjet container route will be launched in March or April with seven Korean shipping companies participating in the venture in a consortium. More talks with the Russian side is required at this stage.

Meanwhile, Tongchun Shipping Co. will open a car ferry route linking Sokcho and Posjet and extend its service to Hunchun, China, by land from Posjet by March.

The shipping route is being dubbed the "Mt. Paektu Route" as the famous mountain range along the border of North Korea and China will be accessible to passengers.
