Guy, <<Right now I'm looking for semiconductor firms that supply the chips that drive the photonic devices. Here's a short list: EMLX, PMCS, AMCC, BRCD, QLGC>> I don't believe that BRCD meets this requirement. They make Fibre Channel switches that use ASICs made by LSI, but I don't believe that they peddle chips for photonic devices. Greg
