TWY - Re: 'Any chance Intel would consider a takeout of 3COM to move up the network ladder? I think that company could use some new management." This rumor was floated two or three times over the past 12 or 18 months. Some analyst even reported that he saw Benhamou at Intel or Intel's top brass at 3COM - I forget which. I don't think 3COM has the right products that would fit Intel's roadmap. Intel wants to play the Communications Component Supplier role - and owning a Big company like 3COM would cause friction with their other (potential) customers. Paul
