You did get me thinking about using leaps instead of stock.

Last year I was often 100% in Dell calls, 80% LEAPS and 20% short term. I should have remembered that this summer. August I was 100% cash and jumped back into Q at about 150. Bought Jan 2002 160 calls around same time. Now, stock is up 233% and those calls are up 558%.

David,
I didnt understand your post...your numbers are wrong...Q is around 490-500 so I didnt understand 373. Do you mean you bought shares, or didnt buy shares? Whatever you bought yesterday, it must be up today.
But LEAPS are truly wonderful, and on Q so have calls been.
I'm off to Utah tomorrow but will get on a computer Saturday or Sunday and we can talk about LEAPS.
