That has always* been the case.* Olu - my main point was that today we see much more momentum investing and ignoring of fundamentals than we've ever seen before (at least in my lifetime). You are correct in stating that in the past when you bought a stock you did so with the belief that others would want to buy it from you in the future - but in the past, this belief was based on the profitability of the company in which you were investing. Today, profitability is not as important - whereas momentum is much more important. -Eric
