COMS is on pretty thin ice. Palm pilot had already added some $20 to the price of the stock. The client access business is dying and the networking gear business, that was supposed to be the future, is on the ropes, down 12% from a year ago (more alarming in that Cabletron had a good quarter)!

You are counting on Palm pilot to prop this sick puppy up and that is dicey at best! If the underwriting isn't dynamite, this stock is finished. The only argument to hold COMS is to get Palm shares, making it the price of admission (at least until cable modems and wireless and home networking business begin to payoff and that is a significant ways off).
