You made a point based on inaccurate info and I called you on it. You said that even this quarter AMD will not ship anything like they used to ship in "K6-2 days". That is flat wrong. Next time check your facts first.

AMD has indeed taken advantage of the coppermine shortage, Check in on their earnings announcement to find out how much.

What was your point?
(i)That owing to production problems, Intel couldn't provide supply? and,
(ii) even though AMD overachieved by supplying at least 800,000 Athlons only 6 months from inception, demand for the Athlon surpassed the 800,000 Athlons that even the most optimisic forecasters a short 3 months ago assumed was an impossible goal?
