By mutable, I meant murky, changeable, etc. in sort of a glimmering, shimmering way. Like a mood ring!! Not fickle!!! Wow, had me going there for a minute! But geez, like a mood ring?! Maybe I'm hard to pin down because I like everything. I like Russell Kirk and I like Noam Chomsky. I like Birchers and I like hippies. I like neo-Confederates and I like the Black Panthers. I like Pat Buchanan and I like Jerry Brown. I like the military and I like enviros. I also like little puppies, nice cups of hot tea, and smoking my pipe in my easy chair.
