Tech Data is a distributor. The cities are probably the different warehouses they have. Out of their seven warehouses, only TWO are expecting delivery of OR840 MBs, and they don't expect them until mid-March! And on top of that, Tech Data has only 135 of these MBs ordered!

Petz,

<NO OR840 MOTHERBOARDS FROM INTEL UNTIL MARCH (?)-- title of a post I snagged from the RAMBUS thread:
techstocks.com;

I read RMBS thread most of the time but I missed that one. Thanks for posting.

<I don't understand the data presented in the post. Is the conclusion valid?>

All John is saying is that DRDRAM as a platform is vaporware 2 months into the famed Intel launch and will stay that way for another 3 months or so.

I guess the story is pretty obvious to most people but John does good DD and may be posting it for the benefit of lost souls on the RMBS thread who have been taken in by the hypemasters earlier this year.

Chuck

P.S.: I am bullish on RMBS but am not counting much from them for the next quarter or so. RMBS revenues should kick-in with PSII, get more momentum with Timna and move into highend with Wilamette. So, this is basically a Y2K story for me.
