Looks like biotech is creeping/has crept into public consciousness. David Gardner at Fool.com remarked that biotech will eclipse the Internet in creating value in the next millenium. Looking at the valuation of Internet start-ups versus companies like NBIX, ALXN, ABSC, MLNM, etc., I continue to feel more comfortable with my biotech brethren. It may be that the mythological street is catching up. This may be the time to enter/hold. Scanning analyst recommendations, 90%+ of new buys are tech/internet related. At some time, we may see biotechs becoming more visible in the investment community a la the Robbie Stephens fellows. Several months ago I wanted to see the I.P.O. market re-open. Now, it will be to see the analysts awake.

Peter- re the discussion of ABGX/CEGE recently; interesting discussion going on about valuation of MEDX (a thinly discussed thread-kind of a "voice in the wilderness")relative to ABGX.

Subject 4286

10-K wizard shows interesting interplay with some of the SI favorites like ABGX, LKST, MLNM et al as well as accumulation by institutions between November to Mid-December. Wish I had paid more attention to it. FWIW.
