What about HearMe (HEAR), which used to be MPath? They specialize in voice-over-internet for all kinds of applications, so you can talk to your buddies during games for example. Supposedly their technology works reasonably well .. and would greatly benefit from being integrated into what promises to be a higher bandwidth empire. After all, voice communications - like games - aren't latency-friendly, and really good quality voice requires a decent piece of bandwidth. Cable solves both those problems because it's much lower-latency and you can transmit several channels of crystal-clear telephony along with your data, no problem.

I don't know any details about HearMe's technology - in fact, cable may obsolete them. ;) But it's a thought.

Their stock has run up a little bit recently on absolutely no news whatsoever. Hmm.
