Carpe. . .look at 1 minute on CMGI and ICGE. . . .and other high fliers. This was a manipulated selloff and rebound. The charts are EXACTLY the same. . . on zero news. CMRC, VERT and many others had very similar moves with that sudden drop at precisely the same time. In answer to prior question. . .Think about it. If you were a brokerage house or had hundreds of millions to play with in the markets. . . .and you missed getting into the high fliers . . .like CMGI or ICGE. . . what would you do? And wit your brokerage buddies were playing in sync with you. . . the play is guaranteed. Just looking at ICGE and CMGI alone. . . .they wait for high fliers to peak for the day, then short them hard. . . .ICGE at 210. . . with a cover at 170 . . . that is good for 40 points. . . CMGI at 285 to 245 . . . guess what? . . .that is ALSO 40 points. . . coincidence? . . doubtful. So at 170 and 285 you cover all your positions and turn long . . . and get your way. . you win. . . . . now you have both stocks at a sharp discount. . .PLUS you made made 40 points!! on the decline. . . and about 30 points!! on the rebound. . . .and still have the stock. That is how the BIG boys play. Now. . . we need to ANTICIPATE such moves and play WITH them when we find ourselves in a similar situation. . . .We need to be right there WAITING for them . . . we cannot nor should not try to fight it. . . we will surely lose that bet. . . but by anticipating and playing such a move when we see it. . . .we can be the ones with the super gains. . . That was a "Christmas money" play. . . and it was done very well. . .just look at the 1 minute. . . . I have my high fliers back. . and made a few extra points. . .but don't like having to go through that. . .and wish I would have recognized it earlier. . . . And that is why a manipulation is impossible to predict. . . unless you have someone on the inside reveal to you their plan. . .which is highly unlikely. Brokerage/Market Maker manipulation is very profitable. . .and hurtful to the individual investors. Rande Is
