Uhhh...as I pointed out...Jim Brown played several sports...Lacrosse, Football, and Track and Field (not unlike Thorpe). While I agree that Thorpe belongs in the top 5, I disagree that off the field antics should be in any way counted in their ATHLETIC achievements. In the same way, I feel that Shoeless Joe and Pete Rose belong in the Hall of Fame FOR WHAT THEY DID ON THE FIELD. If anything, a section should be created to outline the deficiencies of the players from an off-the-field standpoint so that people can understand athletes' performance as role models (which I don't think they are or should be).
