I've noticed that Honda people tend to be VERY loyal to the brand. Consumer Reports tends to rate them fairly well too. JLA

Oh, tell LS I'm sorry! Ugh--- sick and very pregnant are no fun.
We looked at the Honda Civic. But it's so SMALL!!! I worried about safety. A '78 Civic was our first real car (our first was a'66 Ford Galaxy my mother had sitting around and gave to us- that too was a wonderful car) and the thing was indestructible--until CW poured cement in the engine.

Leaning toward the Tiburon- but they seem hard to find right now.
