robert, I, like mr.mark, have been reading about your problem with interest. Also, like mr.mark, I said to myself, "surely he has done that". Anyway, I will attempt in the near future to network my two 'puters so I can access the 'net thru one cable modem. Now for my suggestion: I am of the understanding that when you network computers, one has to be the "master" and one the "slave", or "guest". To all of the masters here, am I off base when I suggest this setting may be the problem? Have fun, Phil
