SEASON'S GREETINGS!
===================

To my dear friends and Wave Compatriots, my SI MILLENNIUM RESOLUTION, is to endeavor to communicate with WAVX long and short alike, in a politically correct and civilized manner.

To that end, please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all . . . and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2000, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishee.

(By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This
greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely
transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for
her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is
revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.)

Cheers to all of you!

Wooly

Hey, cm --

We may never have been the "epicenter" of all things Wave, but back before the Yahoo board and the Raging Bull board were around, we were the only conversation going. There's not a whole lot of the early early crew still posting, and I feel like a bit of an amateur historian in this regard--it's funny, because as I've grown more and more solid about my own long-term investment in the company, I feel less and less compelled to post and to get into the goofy frays that rise up. All that waiting taught me some patience, I guess. It was kind of lonely back then--I think we longed for the attention and notoriety that we've now got. But it was also kind of peaceful, without all of the chaos. Dip into any of those first few thousand posts on this thread and you can get a feel for it.

cm and all,

I'd like to add my best holiday wishes to all the members of the SI and RB WAVX communities who have made sincere contributions to the understanding and discussion of Wave, its opportunities, its capabilities, and its future.

Although we are currently in a period of waiting for details to catch up with preliminary developments, and a period in which the day by day activities are aimed more at solidifying the knowledge that our joint efforts have previously developed, I, too, am more comfortable with my Wave investment than at any time before, and am encouraged by seeing the company maturing as it moves toward deployment.

Although positive business and other developments have made it less possible or appropriate for me to be posting as much as previously, my level of enthusiasm remains high and my outlook remains optimistic.

I am also thankful for the personal and professional relationships which have come from my participation in the Wave community, some of which extend well beyond the mere following of an investment.

For those who may be discouraged by the lack of spectacular price appreciation or who feel that we have gone nowhere, give yourself a holiday present by just calculating the January-December percentage increases of the NASDAQ Composite, the S&P, the Dow and Wave's share price; compare Wave's percentage increase to the others (remembering that the indexes' increases are being referred to as "spectacular"); then relax and appreciate the the progress that Wave has made over the year and consider the path of growth that we are on.

Merry Christmas and best holiday wishes to all,

Steve
