Hmm i got 3 of em from them.. But it also cost me like 30K I think..

well i still think you came out ahead... you get three cards AND a bottle of wine for 30k... my one measly card cost me something like 8k... lol

thanks for your take on smra... i did notice that lehman, the lead underwriter, initiated coverage at a buy... then was on the ask most of the morning selling it all the way down to 14 1/8... hmmm... just looked again and there they are back on the ask at 13 7/8... how come when they think its going to 30 they are selling at 13 7/8? i am probably confused or missing something here... lol

the other initiation dec 8th came from dain rauscher, the other underwriter, and was a strong buy... at any rate, analyst coverage not withstanding i think you are right about profit margins coming back as companies upgrade... do you think that y2k and the spending pressures that it imposed this year, where many companies spent only on y2k compliance issues rather than just regular upgrades, impacted smra as it did many other companies revenues?

are you holding smra in a core portfolio at this time or is it just a trader for you at this point? (if you dont mind me asking...) thanks...

kathy :)
