Ratan,

I can sympathize with your frustration. Had it not been for the fact that my position was so small, I too would probably have taken my profits long ago.

I like that expression: tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. I'll try to avoid that form of self-abuse in the future.

Southern Baptists target Muslims during Ramadan

Ratan:
What is with this Southern 'bastards' anyway?

The Southern Baptists, who enraged the Jewish and Hindu communities in the United States with their controversial "prayer books" indirectly calling for conversions, are targeting Muslims during the 30-day Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The latest "prayer book," titled "Ramadan: Fasting and Seeking God," issued by the Southern Baptists' International Mission Board to its nearly 40,000 churches around the country, however, is said to be far less offensive than the guides that targeted the Jews and and the Hindus and has barely elicited a yawn from Islamic groups in America. The book said "most of the world's 130 million Bengali Muslims live in the state of West Bengal, India, and in the country of Bangladesh, where Muslims are the majority." It exhorted Southern Baptists to "pray for the holy spirit to continue to break the spiritual strongholds throughout Bangladesh while softening the hearts of Bengali Muslims towards the gospel."
