There are two versions of the Athlon coming out in the first half of next year, Thunderbird and Spitfire. Ace's has speculated that Thunderbird will have 256K L2 cache and Spitfire will have 128K L2 cache. But now C't has said Spitfire will have 64K L2 cache - ix.de . (You can translate it at Infoseek.) In the past, C't has been very accurate.
