Nancy, you are correct about the leaders of the church. I feel that this applies to almost every denomination of church, even those other than Christian, in the world. The human interference in the interpretation of the bible has caused all sorts of violence and conflicts. Humans have taken total control of most of the churches and, attempt to rule as the early Roman popes did, who strived for, and sometimes became, emperors of Rome.
