Chris Land, please understand that I am posting this message to you in the spirit of understanding.

Jesus Christ; "This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you."
John 15:12

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:17

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 5:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
John 6:47

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.
And be thankful. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

C Kahn

I hate no one but, you do have a reading problem. When I say ALL of Christainity is not a Roman religion, it is just the same as saying NONE of Christianity is a Roman religion.
ALL is the antonym of NONE. You can find that in Roget's Thesaurus.

The events of the New Testament, which is the text for Christianity, were prophesied in the Old Testament. All of the Christians of the time of Jesus, and until Paul converted the gentiles, were Jews. Therefore the ENTIRE nation did NOT did not refuse Him. Whether you like it, or not, you are exhibiting bigotry in your words. Of those in Judea that refused Him, I would contend that most were afraid of the wrath of the Pharisees and Saducees. Besides all that has been said, no one should be angry that Jesus was crucified because that was God's wish and plan. Do you rage about God's plan? Are you angry with God because He allowed Jesus to be crucified? You are just grasping at straws to justify your anti-Semitism. Your very own words have convicted you, not I.

I do not try to win over any human being, I am only interested in pleasing God and Jesus Christ. Also, do not presume to try and tell me what to do as far as the Gospel is concerned. You are not in any position to issue me orders.

Chris,
<<You say you want to be fair so why do you make it seem like only the few elite Jews in power were the ones who plotted Jesus death>>
The few Jews that made the decision to hand him over acted on behalf of the Jewish people and the entire world. The first Church was among the people you are including as the entire nation.
The problem I have with singling out the Jews as being responsible for His death is scripture. Jesus gave himself for his sheep and the whole world had a part in it. The best part of his death for me is that He gave His life from the love He had for us while we were sinners.
Matthew 20
28: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Mark 10
45: For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
John 10
14: I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15: As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16: And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17: Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18: No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
