Lutz - Feds tightening stance is already reflected in the 30 year T-Bond price which is close to a yield of 6.5. Irrespective of this, and Y2K's death on Jan. 3, 2000, January is going to be orgasmic for techs, as institutional money will pour in by the billions, as the "big cheese MMs" start loading up to get similar returns of 1999. The only thing that will screw up the party is earnings, which will be "spot screw ups by laggard techs" and not by bellwethers like AMAT, YHOO etc. So nothing is going to depress or stop the party for extended periods. I loved owning ALSC for all of 1999 and will do the same for 2000. The surprise factor is going to be the Taiwanese friends UMC and Charter, which are going to zoom, helping ALSC.
