biz.yahoo.com Wednesday December 22, 12:49 pm Eastern Time ADR Report -ADRs up but some Euro tech issues ease On the Asian front, some technology issues, such as Kyocera Corp. (NYSE:KYO - news) bounded higher. Its ADRs were last up 16-5/16 to 167-1/2. The issue has been on fire ever since the announcement of a 3-way telecom merger in Japan. Kyocera is one of the biggest shareholders in the new company. ADR traders noted that it may be a potential buyer of a Qualcomm Inc. (NasdaqNM:QCOM - news) unit. Sony Corp. (NYSE:SNE - news) also rallied. The European Union approved the merger of CDNow Inc. and Columbia House, owned by Sony and Time Warner Inc.(NYSE:TWX - news).

[while laughing] I can see your wife right now. She was probably rolling her eyes while shaking her head side to side wondering, "And I actually agreed to marry this guy!?!?" Well, I can see the meeting party right now after dessert. There you (and maybe some of the other men) are, jumping up and down totally naked by a rack of (rented) surf boards screaming to us totally clothed women, both shareholders and wives, to come on over for some surfing lessons. We'll just sit under the trees with Cheshire cat smiles drinking our coffee--as you guys get hauled off by the police for indecent exposure on a non-nudist beach. Lynn
