I have no knowledge there but I would assume so. Wouldn't it also make sense to design it such that they can keep adding on (or taking off) to the cache without a major re-layout of the rest of the core? That would facilitate the 512K-2Meg+ versions with limited additional effort. I'm not an expert here so if anyone has another idea please comment.
