I may well be silly to succumb to fears that Y2K will cause the End Of The World As We Know It (EOTWAWKI, to the cognoscenti). I just worry, that's all. Mostly about the kids. We went to Costco together, and picked out food together, the kids were having fun choosing canned food and other stuff according to their taste. And I picked stuff I like. Then Chris met us there, and I showed him what we had picked, and asked him what he wanted, and he said, "what you have looks good." And I said, "no, we picked out stuff for US, what do YOU want?" And he said, "what you have looks good enough." So I said, "well, if the world comes to an end, this is for us, not you." And he said, "fine." Of course, we won't really make him starve, so I will buy more stuff the next time I am out, and make believe it's for me.
