Petz,
1 November?

amd.com

"All AMD Athlon processor wafer starts are now on 180-nanometer (0.18-micron) technology, enabling production of higher-frequency devices."

John,

I belive that in the 3rd Qtr CC Sanders said that all Austin wafer starts would be .18u by the end of October. There was no distinction made between Athlon starts and K series starts.

Petz,

Thread, does anyone remember the date Sanders gave for 100% 0.18u wafer starts (on the Athlon)?

End of Oct'99 :-) - taken from JCS Q3 CC trascripts jc-news.com _______

"Sanders - In production on 180nm and expect first revenues 1999 Q4. By months end, all 0.25um Athlons cease production." -- Fab 25
