Scot, using one of the "magic fingers" overclocking devices will void the warranty because you have to remove the plastic casing to attach the device.

I think I've read about other devices that do allow the cache ratio to be modified. Some bios's can apparently override the ratio set by the control lines, not sure about the 0.4 ratio, though.

aceshardware.com tells you how to identify whether an Athlon is 0.18 or 0.25u.
