Hi tekboy,

Ask PAL, my answer would be to go to a complete Options Chain to get your answer.

Hey! You're one of those G&K guys! You know what they tell me over there when I ask a newbie question? What's that acronym? Seriously though, one of the following is highly recommended:

OK I see you have indirect answers to your question, here is the direct one:
Go to www.cboe.com
The farthest out highest I could find was:
YQJAT, Qcom, 500 for Jan of '02. It costs around 180 right now, or $18000 for one contract (100 shares in case you dont know)
Or, to GET money instead of SPENDING money (but with less upside possible) you could sell 1 put, '02Jan Qcomm 500 and get 137 1/2 or so, or $13,700 for one contract.
I had two puts I sold expire worthless last week : so if I get $8000 for a sold put and the q is not at or above that price on that expiration date I'd have to buy it but is usually is above so I didnt have to do anything and I keep the $8000 I got.
