All the noise on the Yahoo boards is why I moved here. CMRC has been my best purchase this year by far, albeit small.

I am sure we all can understand the "exuberance" of CMRC investors that is exhibited on other threads. To me the B2B potential of the Internet technology represents the ultimate migration of the technology for military use only in the 60's to the use for commerce in modern times. Yes indeed, the use of the technology for B2C was a rising phenomena 2 years or so ago with the sprouting of the likes of AOL, EBAY, AMZN etc. BUt I think that the B2C has reached the saturation point with the brick and mortar companies opting for e-commerce sites.

But the B2B potential holds a great promise. Volume of transactions I think is not as high as B2C but the size of unit transactions are higher than corresponding B2C. The early beneficiaries of the B2B have been CMRC (GM deal) and ORCL (Ford deal) besides other smaller deals. Let us hope that CMRC continues to maintain its lead status in the B2B sector and that Mr. Hoffman will display his skills and experience he has gained from his days at Sybase (ORCL competitor) to fend off competition from ORCL and the likes.
