Elmer, Why is AMD tanking here? 28-7/8s and headed south. I'm sitting out of the stock market for the rest of the year. (As of yesterday.) I expect to pick up some good after-Y2K bargains on January 3! Scumbria

Hi Fudd: Panic time, Fudd! Better keep an eye on your sophisticated "big bear" strategy of writing puts. Otherwise you might get dinged pretty good when AMD gets to $17...Wouldn't want a "big bear" like you to end up having to pay the price for such a sophisticated "big bear" sophisticated strategy! Pandemonium today as 1.2 million shares changed hands! Must be shareholders fearing the threat of the PWeeIII 800 that is promised for February (note use of the singular)!
