Nihil, you may despise the mayor of N.Y. if you like. But the fact is, he is an elected representative of the people of New York. Having an unelected political hack, like Cuomo, manipulate the peoples money for obvious political reasons is disgusting!

Let's look at it another way, how would you view the issue if a Reagan appointee had confiscated 60 million bucks and demanded to control the money from the Mayor of San Francisco?

Your accusations regarding the Mayor of N.Y. are just that. Unfounded accusations based on political beliefs. He has not been arrested or charged with any of the things you assert. That "bastard" (as you say) has the right to manipulate the funding of the homeless in N.Y. Because he was elected by the people for that very purpose. (As long as he is doing so in a legal way). By the way, his popularity is rather high with those very same people.

It would be just as wrong if a Republican appointee had acted this way. Running the government like the Mafia is not my vision of our Representative government. The fact that the Presidents wife is running for election in that very state, gives the perception of serious impropriety.
