I think folks must be stunned...or they're off Christmas shopping! What a powerful move. I'm not sure what the driver is there, though I think it was the decision regarding Bell Atlantic and the opening for local telephone service that it implies. TKLC could be a big beneficiary if there is real competition for local service.

Nice run today. I didn't get to follow it much as I'm trying to get some holiday time in, reduce the size of my backlogged vacation time, etc., before the end of the year. Fortunately I've done all my gift shopping/mailing/etc., so the time should be my own. Unfortunately wearing a beeper means the likelihood of this is just about nil. Ugh... Anyway, nice run. It may be Bell Atlantic related, particularly as we all know BA is a customer of TKLC's. But will it have an immediate benefit to TKLC? I kind'a doubt it. Still, TKLC's run up quite a little bit here in the past few days...so maybe something's about to happen we don't yet know about. After all...the market always knows, eh? ;-) Happy holidays everyone!
