>>It's not that big a deal, half a million US. Can't halt it for every deal, or we would spend a lot of time twiddling our thumbs in upcoming months. It's not a material change.<<

I don't mean to argue with you but my opinion is that it is material change. We were halted for the Enviormation and Strategic Alliance releases and with this (HorizonLive.com) being an internet company of sorts I think the market will recognize it as a significant development.

I find it interesting that even though many of the posters here thought we wouldn't have news before the new year but tadaaaa... the company said metomorophicly OH YEAH! You just won't be able to trade this baby easily because they will keep you on your toes. I think the rise we saw on Friday may well have been a result of this deal being inked on Friday and today the news is released.

OR,

Just maybe there is still more deals to be announced over the next few days. Who knows when the Board of Directors met last week to decide on HorizonLive.com, they may have decided on three deals at the same meeting with this one being the smaller of them. It is very likely these guys would decide to invest in two or three deals that they have been considering over the last few weeks/months. But we will get them only one at a time now since the last blooper of two releases in the same day.

I feel very lucky to have picked up my trading shares earlier (by only an hour or so) as I thought the pull back was very small for the distance we traveled on Friday. I had a offer to buy at 1.36 on Tuesday but when we closed in the 1.50's I decided to adjust my offer to 1.46 today and I just squeeked in there late in the day. Whew! Soon after that I saw the price firming up and about 1/2 hour later the NR.

>>I was thinking of starting a thread called 'Venture Capital/Incubator Companies'.
What section of SI should that go in - IPOs?
techstocks.com <<

First the link doesn't work for me and second I would think the category is going to be toooo big for a thread. Perhaps it should be a category of threads. Then JDX could move to that section of SI. JMO

Cheers.

Ray
