Prashant, You can wait but I will not. STEVE HARMON listen up.
Steve what do you say about these RECENT deceptions? Is this how you deal with the public?
Message 12334735
Message 12338629
I found both of these post insults.
We are not going away Steve, you owe the general public an apology for these post (let alone your list for '99).
I've not asked the press what they think of this (yet). Since you seem to think that you can stay silent about what you have done perhaps I should. It is time to rub the bunions Steve.
BLUE

If Steve did indeed has been misleading his readers and visitors, he SHOULD own up to it or at least clarify why he felt entitled to do the performance switcheroo for his 1999 list.

The silence is deafening.

Prashant, you deserved a round of applause for digging out Steve's 99 picks from internet.com, Steve's ex-employer. Thanks God, we have a trace. Had Steve maintained a good relationship with internet.com, I am afraid that this trace could have been erased upon request.

The full description of your report can be found at
internetstockreport.com
where you clearly state why you believe in broadcom as one
of your picks. Then in the community section you describe
your pics to be Lycos, Geocities, Xoom, and theglobe.com.
In your Shopperconnection list you mention a whole slew of
stocks without making a specific pick...COOL,
CDNW,NTKI,HLWD,and even the down and out CYCH.

the 10 listed at the top of this post made in feb. are the 10 listed now, this list stayed on si since feb. 4 unchanged

@Home
America Online
Beyond.com
CMGI
DoubleClick
Go2Net
Preview Travel
Lycos
GeoCities
XOOM

other stocks mentioned throughout 1999 and elsewhere (even in daily reports) have not been included since the focus was on 10 and these 10 have been on si all year since si posted feb. 4, 1999

other picks have done well, such as digital island, commerce one, yet we are not counting them, nor are we counting others who have underperformed our expectations such as globe that were not originally listed in this post by ticker on feb. 4, 1999

the 10 here have been constantly viewable since feb. 4

since these 10 have been on si since feb. 4 we left them intact and tracked them as a portfolio, counted only them since they were always available for everyone to view on silicon investor at all times
