heinz, my guess is that they have to pump until Jan 1 for some reason related to y2k. If this is so, maybe they have a plan to withdraw the excess liquidity after Jan 1. Any idea how this might be done without a crash? Trading restrictions? Bring on the economic theorists! Wonder what Zeev thinks about all the liquid...
