ORCL/FORD set up marketplace that has realistic potential of doing $300+ billion dollars a year in revenue. What is an exchange like that worth? Hard to say but it is worth tremendous amounts of $. What would Chrity's be worth if they were doing $300 billion in business. That what it is, a whole new way of doing business. Truly a major shift in buiness structure and ORCL is at the heart of it.

Think of all the potential. Thats why the stock is flying. This has nothing to do with Y2K, pre or post, but can be characterized by and how companies view themselves and operate in the internet age. Is another software company as well postioned? I cannot think of one.

I think that this stock can see internet related (i.e., overvalued) stock prices. Therefore, there will be fluctuations in stock price but in the long run the company is as solid as the internet itself.

All, IMO, Bob.
