Joe, yes ANTC will still be a winner in 2000. . .I think that was all propaganda a few weeks back to get the price down. . . . some of the high fliers in a selloff mode. . . especially broadband. . . will soon be back.

The thing about OLB and retailers. . .is that OLBs are more like retailers than they are like high tech firms. And retailers are simply not in favor at present. . . however, I expect them to get scarfed up before years end and begin to see a bit of strength going into 2000. If you recall ANF doubled and split last year. . . and WMT was one of the top performing stocks in the Dow. . . and HD, BBY and a few others were big performers. . . .I expect them to do likewise in 2000, regardless of the fact that they are in the dumps these days.

One that I would have had on the list a year ago was LTD, but after stopping by several of their stores this year I was shocked to see no customers. And I don't mean few. . I mean NONE. The girls were running around making it look like the place was busy. . . but as I watched, they seemed rather pitiful. And not just LTD, but Express and Express, Too. I realize they have other chains as well. . . but the rent of Limited and Express is super high, as those are very high square footage stores. . . but. . . the black, red and white colors were just not going over here.

So as we grab bargains. . .be selective.

Joe, you have done a terrific job on mutual funds. I haven't had time to pick through them. . .but greatly appreciate your efforts. I am looking for a selection of 3 or 4 that cover Asian small cap tech stocks. . .foreign telecoms. . .European mixed tech. . .and Asian manufacturing. . . .Low entry points, low expense ratios, good histories are preferred. . . .also leaning toward those that have had exceptional gains in the past 3 months. . .with those that performed best in the past single month being preferred.

Hope that helps. . .and thanks again. . . your efforts are appreciated by all. . . .believe me. . . .I get thank you letters, notes, cards, email, PMs, etc. . . every single day. . . .we do have a grateful group here.
