Resident GGers,
This thread has had a nice influence on my portfolio and my investment philosophy. After lurking for a couple of weeks and doing some reading, I decided last week to pare off some of my largest holding (SUNW about 60% of my port) and buy "The Q", JDSU and GMST, all in equal amounts. Needless to say, the trade off has been immediately worth it!
I have had incredible gains this year with SUNW and CMGI but felt the need to diversify (if you consider 95% of your portfolio in 6 or 7 tech stocks as diversification).
Can't sell too much SUNW, it's been a great hold over the years, my basis is in the single digits and Uncle Sam doesn't deserve to rob me of any more of my hard earned money.
Still looking to double up on QCOM on any weakness, maybe tomorrow, maybe LEAPS.

Just want to say "Merry Christmas!" and Thanks to those who of you who spend a great amount of time researching and posting your ideas and opinions. I have found this to be one of the most valuable and informed threads on the net. Eventually, I hope to contribute in a more substantive manner.

Happy Investing!

BTW, Diggin' the AH pop in GMST.
