481-3/8 last on NazAfterHrs, time stamp 6:06pm

my take is Kyocera is a new big buyer of CDMA chipsets
they will ramp up as a preferred customer
they are an Asian player of decent size
they will pressure big3+VOX into ramping up

I interpret this sale as "walking away benignly" from Europe temporarily

I fully expect Europe to become a narrowband backwater of wireless for the next two years
after a couple years of pain and second class citizen status,
-- Europe will retool with CDMA and go nuts
that continental shift in y2001-2 will power QCOM further

next big news is HDR customers and a lineup of real product
bring on the ATT and Cisco news that awaits the light of day

get the pimply-faced naive numbnut sellers out of the way
then let the smart buyers build some momentum off 470-480 base

it is over, we move on toward the Intel Business Model
