Willam, that CDDD chart is amazing, 1 billion market cap and they haven't even filed. The venture capital scene in Israel hasn't got much play in the media here, but they have their own silicon valley thing happening. A lot of those stocks mentioned in the Bloomberg article have all been relayed to me by an Israeli friend, alas, he never told me about CDDD the wanker, but I know Teva and Elbit. Re: SCII, initially I just bought a small position on the tip and the chart, I asked for opinions here before I did anything, but I guess no one had heard of it. The more I look the more I'm thinking this could be the real thing, and if this got to a m/c of a billion like CDDD it would be trading at over 200. As the story goes, SCII has developed technology to enable the real time broadcast of multimedia content via wireless to an array of hand-held devices including cellular phones. This technology will also significantly advance the delivery of internet applications, including video, web pages and email, on a real time and global basis without the difficulties and limitations of WAP based systems.... This technology will provide seamless internet-to-cell and cell-to-internet messaging services allowing end users to remain online when away from their traditional internet access sites. I cut and pasted that from Yahoo scii board, go there for some good discussion. To me, the salient points are that if this technology can do what they say, this stock is way undervalued. If it can't, why would the President of Israel's largest telecom step down to head it, and why would one of Israel's most respected analysts shower praise upon it. Also, the same group that had a large stake in RRRR has a large stake in scii, it's all on yhoo, PR's and news releases, check it out. There's a reverse merger involved to, so it is confusing. Personally, I haven't seen it work and maybe it's some elaborately constructed P & D, but I think they are on to something and this recent run up is only the beginning. The market cap is still only 100 million and they are ready to begin service in cooperation with Partner Communications next quarter in Israel. If somebody out there has similar or better technology I haven't heard about it, but if they didn't, they'd pay a whole lot more than 100 million for it, that's peanuts for NOK or whoever, frigging mapquest fetched over a billion from AOL. (which is why I'm liking that TELV/mySimon play more and more, and BNYN/Switchboard, but I digress...) I'd love for some other people to do their own research on SCII and let me know what they think, I could be wrong and would love to hear anyone's thoughts on the potential or lack thereof of SCII. TIA kanetsu
