Alan, I would never say that I judged another person purposefully to set judgement upon him, although I have judged within my own mind the acts of another.

A jury in the things of the world must judge.

A body of believers in the spiritual things of Christ must judge one of their own if he or she openly sins.

This is what Paul says to the Church. What do you think he means?

"2Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."
1 Cor. 2:

Paul says he who is spiritual judgeth all things. It would be a very serious responsibility to judge others as to their spiritual righteousness but Paul says we can because we have the "Mind of Christ".

James

ALAN, I answered this question before I read this statement by you.
I must say that is a judgement that you have passed on me!
Is Santiago and the rest right about you?
Why should I care what James thinks of me. I plainly can see that he is a Judgmental Bigot and so are YOU.
