I mean, you've always said that the whole reason to buy LEAPS instead of options is that you can avoid the time-decay, and thus you should always try to buy the furthest LEAPS out. If the Jan 2003s are indeed going to become available in two weeks, why didn't you wait?

Well, all the news is out. Earnings are in line, the division sale is done. The long term future looks bright.

I see Q with the market or a little less from now to earnings. We are dealing with Mr Markets perception, not reality, and there is no reason now for any more big run up. The Mo-Mo boys will leave us, but the stock split will sustain us. A trade-off, as I see it.

Of course, if you bet on my short term market predictions, you will lose your shirt! :0)
