Robert-Winstar's announcement today of their broadband rollout is apparently using the Siemens-P-com and/or Hughes
connection for equipment. Do you know if VARL gets any of this business? Where does P-Com get the comparable components if not from VARL? It appears that Netro is still a potential supplier to Winstar at a later date. Are there other suppliers for this equipment other than NTRO, ADAP,DMIC, and PCMS?

Best regards,

Mike
P. S. On the MRVC thread we have dealt with the buy-out rumors with the slogan "Nothing less than a 10-bagger" One of the guys even had T-shirts made with the slogan and passed them out at the annual meeting. Did you get one Pat?
That wouldn't work here for folks like you who were in early but it might serve those who came aboard in the low 20's! <gg>

Rumors are someone else's fluff. I agree that spreading rumors, which is what posting them on the message boards is, should be avoided at all costs. Opinion, argument, speculation, fact are all fair game on the threads; but rumors posted suggest the author may give them credibility. They only cloud an already cloudy picture for the ordinary investor. Just my opinion.

The stock is up 65% in less than 4 trading days (from 22 to 35) and there has been no news from the company. I think it is important to discuss the reason for this big move, since some people are looking for entry and exit points. If the large price move is attributable to a rumor, then people can give it the weight it is due.
